As Above So Below inspires me on so many levels it’s hard to choose a range for my expression wide enough and narrow enough to encompass exactly how great I feel this single release is. The instrumental post-rock sneak peak drops on September 20th, 2013 aside 5 unheard tracks. It must be mentioned early on that the first preview of the record is a mathy and very intricately woven progression that lasts 11:12. Knock of the Hidden Hand catches so many X-factor waves of acrobatic and technical instrumentation and encounters personified story telling. Confronting a tendency to ride in interesting overriding complex time signatures and an execution of world class musicianship, the track is at times heavy and takes away from your own breath just to survive. It also explores sound as a color and paints soothing scenery and electricity, it can be compared to water surging past a funneled trail impeded and unfettered from giant stone. Knowing that all is from a singular originated breath, the mineral and stone is just a cogitation of the water in another space.
The track really breaks walls in every dynamic and the impactful rise and fall has empire-like significance. Being so consequential, As In We can teach with a hermetic traditional stance of silence and resolve the paradox of knowledge. Never being spoiled due to ego, there is a reduction of thought to basic word, communal dictations and rationals. Just by examining the rest of the song titles, a pectoral presence or voice that is picked up by my inner awareness that now I must unbottle some of the concepts in which I rate and admire music; the basis for my reasoning. If I post a band, it is a five-star victory. A product with infinite substance to trek, and obligatory notoriety and universal acceptance as true, honest music.

This dramatization and histrionic dislocation from actuality is merely the attempt of voicing the intensity As In We bring forth in my own interaction with the record. Applying a curiosity of how the song sounds in my heart, how it feels in my minds eye, and how it smells to my ears, a transcendent and congruent spectrum is illustrated and overlapped upon itself as is the product and force behind it. Digging deeper, we can let the mind of the music materialize, sourcing life from its own creative intuition. One can actually penetrate in a experiential literal happening, into something as old as sound itself. Music as a mind can be alerted and informed by another minds of will and intention, creating an octave range that can be followed up the scales of productivity and vividness behind the allure and vibrational ladder. As is above is below, we can even gain insight into the molecular scale and dig into influences deep within the melodic scales of our own making.
It is the avoidance and evasive fact that mind created all things, even god, that alludes and revolutionizes the voyage back into the primordial soup of infinite creation at all scales in an expanding and separating way. This is met with the polarization of the idea, now reverse engineered, as lonely as stars in the void. Swirling dreams of stars shine past astral minerals and dust, portraying an insight into the plant kingdom. In a time when the human soul is so distantly preserved within evolution’s past, the link to spirit and higher dimensional resonances being broken, we have found ourselves collectively astray. This why only a collectively assimilation and rationalized cohesion of intention and passion sign desire for change, will in turn paint the world anew. This band and their collective bring me back to my own personal beliefs and muse the execution of my destiny as theirs, they inspire more. A potential on the verge of escaping the rainbow spectrum, and seven laws which imprison us within the running river of cause, effect, and the tyranny and poetry in riding free even though dominated by infinite scales of tragedy. Past these colors is a new mirror image of the octave. As below is above, from understanding the implication in correlative quantification of surroundings, the observer can than apply his knowledge to a different magnitude of the same image to test its factual validity within the true purity of universal creation and reflection.
The Logos are a reflection of the future, waiting upon us to meet again; to untraumatize the monkey, again polarized with the fact the human organism may be the mind behind it all, as the congruencies of all the cosmos separates leading to defined boundary and form, we are the makers of the music box and the dreamers of the dream, the music, and the interaction with it. It all comes from a controlled realm being our logical selves, our minds. The band’s empathetic bond serves as a dictator and assures us of the explosion of creation being personified. The pen has its unique and indestructible color, no matter what the shade. The division of the waves may change but not their ratio against each other. Denouncing music influence as an artist seems absurd to me, and really depressed me to my lowest fall.
I know, as I told to my buddy Nick Van Meter: “a suicidal thought when tried to be actualized, still the brevity of these high speed insights, and ensure a bravery of painting the spirits language on the flesh. If a singer is authentically sad, one can in turn acknowledge his pain and perhaps sooth it; if his techniques have been practiced.
